They really are the best!!!
I hate to start a review by bashing another business, but I really have no choice... (no names)
Just recently, I had an occassion to get my store rekeyed on an "emergency" basis so I went with the first person who called me back... It took the guy HOURS to rekey the place! also, the guy could NOT understand what I was saying on the phone (his english was fine). He could not understand what I wanted or needed, and the locks stick and the keys are knock offs... and once everything was "done", he couldn't make me the duplicate keys that I wanted! I paid for the service to my door but STILL needed to get in my car and drive down to Village Lock & Key.
I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with the locks that Village Lock & Key have done. I drove down to them to get the duplicate keys that I needed (that the other guys couldn't do) and the guy was great at explaining why I was having a problem and wanted to help me to fix the issue. I am just KICKING myself that i didn't wait for them to just DO IT RIGHT! I have NEVER had a problem with ANY lock changes or dupe keys that VL&K has done and i have had them do my businesses for YEARS AND YEARS plus my house!

I thought I lost a set of keys so I came to Village Lock and Key for copies.
This was a very quick process and they were able to copy a wide variety of keys including mailbox, home, car, and even my car's "The Club" key.
Prices are a little higher than Wal Mart but this was sooo easy and quick. I'll come back, that's for sure.
Oh, and when I came home this evening I found those "lost" keys... Oh well, now I have a full backup set.

Need a key made or something to identify your keys with, this is the place to go. They are quick, friendly and the keys always seem to work when they are finished.

I had to re-key 5 locks and called Village Lock & Key because they were in BBB listing. I had Alan (who turned out to be the owner) coming out very soon on the very same day and finishing job very fast in under an hour. On top of that, he was friendly and respectful. Very satisfied with the service. Furthermore, their website has a coupon (for $15) and their fee for coming out was also less than what others were asking.
